Project introduction: Aer Gelete Mountain Tunnel is featured by the largest scale and longest length in projects under construction in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In a separated way, the left line is 2,479m long and the right line is 2,515m. Soft rock around the tunnel is easy to be weathered and softened. As a result of the harmful effect of joint cutting, some damages appear easily, such as fall-block and block dome collapse in tunnel excavation. In winter, tunnel temperature is below -30℃. The tunnel structure faces many severe tests.
At two points, 700m at the entrance section and 700m at the exit section, FL FLOLIC FOAM Freezing-thawing Resistant System for Tunnels in Extremely Cold Areas is adopted for secondary lining finishing for freezing-resistance treatment; FLOLIC FOAM insulating thickness: 50 mm.
