Project introduction: the project is in northeastern Inner Mongolia. Affected by continental monsoon climate in North Temperate Zone, it is long in winter and short in summer with the freezing period from October to April of the next year. In 165 days, soil here is frozen and the maximal freezing depth is 269cm. The extremely lowest temperature is -37.66 ℃. Climate conditions affecting the tunnel are more close to Huolinguole City.          

 

The project was completed by the end of October 2009 and adopted FL FLOLIC FOAM Freezing-thawing Resistant System for Tunnels in Extremely Cold Areas; FLOLIC FOAM insulating thickness: 45 mm.
