Project introduction: Duzishan-Kuche Highway on National Road 217 is also referred to as Tianshan Highway which goes through 3 tunnels. The road is the throat connecting Dzungaria Basin and Tarim Basin and an important part in the road network of “three vertical lines and two horizontal lines” as well as a major highway for national defense. The highway is in extremely cold areas at high elevation. Complicated geographical conditions (sharp cliff, many sharp turns, narrow road and steep slope), fragile ecological conditions and difficulties to transport raw materials make the project more challenging! 

All the three tunnels adopt FL FLOLIC FOAM Freezing-thawing Resistant System for Tunnels in Extremely Cold Areas for secondary lining finishing for freezing-resistance treatment; FLOLIC FOAM insulating thickness: 45 mm.
